We gathered at Winnie's place last Christmas too. Then, there was only 1 pregnant Noi Noi... this year, same venue but with 2 additional little ones! Look at Tricia and Reeann... sooooo cute!!! More additions next Christmas?? Don't think so... :p

Yuxiang came back for holidays and it was a perfect reason for the few of us to gather. Samuel joined us too! I think it must have been at least 4/5 years since we last met him! Zhikun and Seng were supposed to be here as well but they couldn't because one was sick and the other was working.Time really flies... Remember those days when we mugged through the nights for exams in S16... Remember those days when we had late night suppers at Fong Seng and skipped lectures the next day... That was 10 years ago!Now, Cynthia has Jerome who's already 3 and Yanping has Andrea (above) who's 2 and Yuxiang is expecting her little one in July 08! :)

I love buying Christmas gifts! Every year I spent a lot of time shopping and a lot of money buying gifts. But this year, work is so overwhelming I really wish I had more time to do proper Christmas gift shopping. Maybe I should start shopping much earlier next year!

Another thing I love about Christmas is about wrapping the gifts I bought. Wrapping can be therapeutic, you know... I love to look at prettily wrapped presents and the smiles on the recipients' faces.. (^_-) This year, I tried wrapping the gifts with magazine pages and I love the results... & it's environmentally friendly too.

Calvin and I both gave each other presents before Christmas. Or rather, we both went to buy our own presents this year. I went to buy my Kate Spade bag on my own and he went to buy his Arai helmet on his own. Feel so weird... no surprise, no presents to rip open...

So, secretly we went to buy another present for each other. And we ended up buying presents from the same brand! He got Randy to help him buy me a Crumpler Headaitch Bag and I went to buy him a Crumpler Bundle Pouch! Telepathy?? Haha...

It's the time of the year again... Christmas eve gathering with Calvin's good old friends! This year we gathered at David & Angelic's house.

Missing in the photo is little sleeping princess Phoebe. Also missing are Ken, Geraldine and their little princess who couldn't join us this year.

How time flies... TTC has just celebrated our 5th Christmas together tonight. Take a walk with me down memory lane and indulge in reminiscence of good old beautiful times.

Glamour Night @ The Moomba

We were all dolled up that night. We even had best dress awards! And they were given out to Ying {Best Dress Female} and Ben {Best Dress Male}. Despite having some people trying to zip up the pants that used to fit nicely when they were much younger (haha!), it was such a beautiful evening in the company of beautiful souls.

Summer Christmas @ York Hill

The whole group of us crashed into my granny's rented "studio" flat in York Hill. We had a potluck competition where we were split into groups of 3 to prepare a dish. Hmmm.. I forgot whose dish won eventually. Anyone remembers??

It wasn't easy for the organisers that year. Quite a number of people couldn't make it becos of work, trips, etc... Nonetheless, it was a cosy nice evening. And it was the first time Calvin joined in a TTC Christmas celebration. (*_^)

Surprise Trip to Malaysia

This was the most massive Christmas project. It took 2 beautiful ladies to secretly plan the entire itinerary for 13 people on a 4D3N tour to Malaysia! They're really amazing! Every second of that trip was filled with fun, joy, laughter and love... the TTC kind of love!

Celebrate in style @ Barracks

We had the best table in Barracks. There were a number of private function rooms there but ours was the best! We were like dining in a greenhouse... glass roof, glass walls, pots of plants surrounding the table... it given gave William an opportunity to hide the present for his secret pal! Well, it was also in the restaurant's best interest that they put us in that greenhouse.. we made sooooo much noise (Teri hor??)... haha!!

The organising baton has been passed to the 2 "newest" addition to the family... Jinhong and Calvin.. excitedly anticipating next year's TTC Christmas!

Esther asked me about the yummy looking Tofu Cheesecake we had on William & Calvin's birthday. She thought I made it... well I wish!! haha... It's really really good. For someone who doesn't eat much cake or sweet stuff, I had 2 servings of the Tofu Cheesecake when everyone else only had 1 after the sumptuous steamboat dinner.

KS is [normally] for Kia Su. In this case, KS is for Kate Spade. Yes! I've got my dream KS bag for Christmas! Thank you baby!!! We saw this bag in Manila but it was quite pricey. We thought it should be slightly cheaper here in S'pore. But when we came back from Manila, we couldn't find this model in the KS boutique here.

Last week, when Calvin went shopping on his own, he saw it sitting on the shelf and he decided to give it to me as a surprise for Christmas. Then as he was about to pay for it, the nice sales lady asked him, "Do you need this urgently? Cos if not, you can come back next Tues to get it as we're having a 30% sale." She's so nice hor... but there's only 2 pieces for each colour and Calvin didn't wanna risk "losing" it to someone else. The nice sales lady then took his no. and said she'll call him once 1 of the bag is sold, so that he can quickly go back and buy it. hmmmm maybe she just wanted his number... haha

Nice plan... BUT he's on duty on Tues!!! So, he engaged Xifen's help to buy the bag for him, so that this is still gonna be a surprise for me. Hey thanks pal! Thanks for agreeing readily to help Calvin... So, what happened? Why am I blogging about this now?? Where did the "Christmas surprise" go?? Well, we went shopping yesterday and we saw some other nice cool bags... and Calvin began to wonder if I'd prefer other designs. He decided to let the cat out of the bag and ask me what I prefer... In the end, becos he's on duty today (1st day of the sale) and we didn't wanna trouble Xifen and we didn't want someone else to buy what we wanted, I went to buy my own Christmas present today! Hmmmm... KS is indeed for Kia Su!! hahaha

He celebrated his birthday 3 days in a row!!

Surprise surprise!! It was a surprise celebration for William and Calvin. Diane/ Audrey/ Teri's parents went for their 2nd honeymoon (sweet hor...) so we crashed there for a super sumptuous, yummy steamboat dinner. See that cake? It's a strawberry jelly tofu cheesecake. Yes! Tofu blended with cheese to achieve a light, non-gelat dessert.

After food, dessert and chit-chatting, we gathered around a square table for guess what?? YES! MAHJONG!! Calvin and I haven't played for almost a year now! Itching to get our hands on the tiles... We had great fun that night!! :D

It was Eunice's birthday on 1 Dec. So we went for dinner on Sunday to celebrate Eunice & Calvin's birthday. The 2 of them are so similar in so many ways... it's scary sometimes... haha

We had dinner at this superb yakitori restaurant. They serve the best yakitori!! Hanwei and Tomoko brought us there once and we loved it.

Calvin got a beautiful beer glass for his almost-nightly indulgence - Heineken or Guinness Draught.

This day is HIS... it's his birthday and it's just gonna be the 2 of us.. :) We had a slow-paced day... no rush, no fuss... just soaking in each other's love and attention... hehe... Brought him to Favenails for a pampering feet treat.. His first pedicure in 32 years! He enjoyed it and his feet look good!! haha
