I had some mystery program waiting for me after the SMA Gala Dinner. Xifen, Teri and Alvina came to pick me up. They refused to tell me where we're going. I only knew that I was gonna see more of my friends at that mysterious destination.

So ya, there the girls were... comfortably seated at Gotham Penthouse waiting for me!! Wahaha... Anyone been there before? Does the name suggest anything?? wahaha...

Thank you so much girls!! Thank you for arranging this! I had great fun! I can't even remember when was the last time I partied like that. I can't remember when was the last time I drank that much! Thanks for planning this. I really enjoyed myself! :D

Look at the little round lights on the photo... they are called "energy bubbles". These energy bubbles will appear where there lots of happiness in that area. So amazing, so cool, isn't it?! We were a happy bunch of girls that night!!!

On the other side of the wild party, was the stag who was abruptly awoken by the drunk hen. He was kept awake and worried while I puked and puked and puked and puked. With my kind of gastric condition, the amount and the speed that I drank was way beyond my limit. Sorry baby.. sorry to put you through the agony of watching me in pain. Thank you for taking care of me throughout the night.

We won!! We clinched the Best Experiential Campaign for our SilkAir bus campaign last year!!!!

Winners of all categories in SMA would be vying for the Grand Prix title. So, being the Best Experiential Campaign winner, my SilkAir campaign was a potential. I was crossing my fingers, toes and eyes when they were announcing the Grand Prix winner... no... my SilkAir didn't win that. But Wendy's Nike WON!!! And she's going to Cannes this year! So happy for her!!!

It's at award functions like these when all your passion flows out of every cell in your body and you just feel soooo good! This is probably how the Zoe Tays and Fann Wongs feel at Star Awards! :p

We had to go through the traditions.. 过大礼is normally done a couple of weeks before the actual wedding where the groom's family will bring a whole lot of things (canned pig trotters, bottles of liquor, oranges, etc etc) and the bride's family was supposed to accept these gifts and give back some other gifts in return. And then there's supposed to be all these praying and offerings to ancestors, etc. But, being Christians, Calvin and I have requested to do away with it. My mom has agreed, on the condition that we go through the formality of giving her a token and receiving this lot of "ang gong gong" 嫁妆. Look at them!! wahaha... everything supposed to signify something. Calvin and I got a shock when we saw them laid out on my mom's table. My mom said actually there were supposed to be a whole lot more. But she only bought the basics... wonder what else there could have been?????

Well well, shocked as we were, we gladly brought all the "goodies" home, knowing in our hearts that my mom meant well and that she went through a lot of trouble putting them together. The beautiful heart of a mother.

It was FUN!!! I wish I bought more materials. Well, I WILL go buy more materials. I'm like 60% done with the guestbook and I'm pretty happy with what I've done so far. Calvin's happy too! (-.*)

I wanted to do everything that I need for the wedding with my own hands. And I think Calvin and a lot of my friends would raise all limbs to agree that it's not the best decision made, especially when I'm not anywhere close to being a professional at what I wanted to do.

Well, that decision caused me quite a bit of stress... but thank God for gifted and talented friends around me. I got advices and help along the way which helped me HEAPS!

Last week, I completed the ring pillow. hmmmm... quite pleased with the results. Over the weekend, I started work on the angbao box and realised I need more materials. Part II required for the angbao box

Then I realised that I have absolutely no plans in place for a guestbook. So, I went to a scrapbooking store {Made With Love} in Plaza Sing. Knowing almost nothing about scrapbooking, I went there to find inspiration. I was intrigued by the amount of materials & tools scrapbookers use!!! I bought some materials (expensive man!!!) and I'm gonna start my desperate last min attempt at something I've never done before!

Calvin had to go back to work today. And a steamy affair was waiting for him when he came home. Haha... I prepared steamed salmon, steamed calamari with some orange sauce and steamed lady fingers in sambal belachan. All steamed... Look at the heap of rice on his plate... my handsome "fan tong" finished that whole mountain ok... haha...

Actually the food was a li'l too much for the both of us... Need to work on my "aga-ration".
