I wanted to do everything that I need for the wedding with my own hands. And I think Calvin and a lot of my friends would raise all limbs to agree that it's not the best decision made, especially when I'm not anywhere close to being a professional at what I wanted to do.
invitation cards | placecards | ring pillow | angbao box | guestbook
Well, that decision caused me quite a bit of stress... but thank God for gifted and talented friends around me. I got advices and help along the way which helped me HEAPS!
Thanks to William for putting what I want into the right formats, the right layouts and for adding in the little red 喜喜!! Thanks to Rick for helping me search for the fonts that I want and amending it in time for printing!! Here's the end product which made my mom a li'l xxx...
Mimi: WHAT?? black invitation card?????
Me: Doooo...got red 喜喜 mah...
Mimi: So small...
Me: Can lah... 什么年代了...
Mimi: ....
So I forced my way through. Printed already then show her.. haha! that's called 先斩后奏!
Last week, I completed the ring pillow. hmmmm... quite pleased with the results. Over the weekend, I started work on the angbao box and realised I need more materials. Part II required for the angbao box
Then I realised that I have absolutely no plans in place for a guestbook. So, I went to a scrapbooking store {Made With Love} in Plaza Sing. Knowing almost nothing about scrapbooking, I went there to find inspiration. I was intrigued by the amount of materials & tools scrapbookers use!!! I bought some materials (expensive man!!!) and I'm gonna start my desperate last min attempt at something I've never done before!
